Maruti Suzuki Omni Does Burnouts In Australia

The humble Maruti Omni microvan has for years proved to be a reliable transport option for extended Indian families. Besides, it even serves the role of an ambulance and cargo carrier in cities. However, the one thing an Omni owner would not dare do is pull off doughnuts with it.

Common sense tells us that a car such as the Omni is not suitable for such stunts due to its high probability to roll over. But some people have a nack to defy common sense. This is just what an Australian did recently at the Brasher Nats 2013 event in Sydney.

The guy does doughnuts after doughnuts until the tyres evaporate and sparks start flying from the exposed wheels. The Omni regularly has a front mounted 37 HP and 62 Nm torque 796cc engine, but this one was replaced by a turbocharged unit.
