Mahindra Tractors Celebrates 60 Years With ‘Desh Ka Tractor’, Honours 40 Lakh Deliveries
Mahindra Tractors, a leading brand in India and part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector, has marked its 60-year journey by celebrating the sale of 40 lakh tractor units since 1963. The company introduced 'Desh ka Tractor: Mitti se Juda, Junoon se Saja', an initiative honouring Indian farmers.
The highlight of this celebration was the unveiling of a life-sized tractor-themed sculpture. This artwork, inspired by Mahindra's 'Yuvo Tech Plus' tractor, symbolises the resilience and strength of Indian farmers. Crafted from soils collected from over 4000 farms across India, it showcases the deep connection between Mahindra and the farming community.

Mr. Vikram Wagh, CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Division, expressed gratitude towards farmers at the unveiling event held at their Nagpur manufacturing facility. He stated, "As we celebrate this milestone of serving 40 lakh customers over 60 years, we wish to acknowledge the farmers' trust that has enabled us to achieve this feat.
It has inspired us to create 'Desh ka tractor', showcasing the strong bond between Mahindra Tractors and the hardworking, relentless, and courageous Indian farmer. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all who helped us reach this milestone."
