Mahindra Komodo Concept By Makrand Patil

Komodo is Mahindra's latest concept, which is designed by Makrand Patil. The design showcases their youth oriented approach.

Mahindra Komodo looks stylish from all angles. It has a high, above the road stance. Chunky tyres and a sweeping back adds to a much more stylish looking car. Its a perfect balance between a car and SUV.

The Komodo will sport skid plates at the bottom to protect the underbody. From the back it looks like a sedan with high ride suspension. Makrand has designed the car to look compact and not bulky in the rear.

Mahindra will have to add a power packed engine, if they need to hook a boat to it. So from the looks of it, the car will sport a powerful mill. The car will do off-roading as well as easily tug other vehicles or carriages.

The Komodo has a high stance, enabling deep water excursions or crossing. The car will be a true off-roader in all senses however, expect it to be modernized. This car if put into production will change the ball park Mahindra plays in.

The Designer Makrand Patil believes, Mahindra needs to evolve and what better than 'Komodo'. The Design is very youthful and modern compared to Mahindra's current line-up. Since the Indian manufacturer focusses on 'Rise', their Ad-campaign. This is perfect to capture the youth's attention

The vehicle has been designed keeping in mind Mahindra's motto. The Indian manufacturer has been a benchmark for durability and reliability. Mahindra is known for its capability, functionality as well as design authenticity.

While designing the Komodo, Mahindra wanted to merge its typical DNA with a modern and mature 4x4 look, making it the Apex product from Mahindra's portfolio.
