This Is Not A Traffic Jam, It’s A World Record
There are fans of the Blue Oval badge from Detroit all around the world. However, not many are as fanatical as this bunch of Bulgarians.
Ford fans in Bulgaria got together a rather long queue of cars bearing the Blue Oval badge, (around 20 kilometre long queue in fact) and brought them all onto a long section of a highway that had been closed off.
The result, they broke the Guinness World Record for the "Longest Queue of Ford Vehicles in the World". Yes, there is a record for Ford vehicles queuing up and it does have its place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
To achieve this, the organisers closed down a 3.2-kilometre long stretch of the highway and had 1,527 vehicles pass through it in what can only be described as one of the longest traffic jams in the world.
A total of over 2,300 Ford vehicles had actually lined up at the event, but not all of them were included in the record, as some of the cars were not homologated in the proper category for records of this kind.
The previous record holders from the United States had a measly 829 vehicles lined up.
