‘Lexus India’ Mobile App - Lexus’ New Innovation
Lexus launched a mobile application called 'Lexus India'. This app will let users manage their vehicles without being present and will also allow further connected services. Also, we find an SOS call setting which will connect us to the 24/7 Lexus Emergency Call Centre.
Furthermore, on a cold day, the Lexus India App can be used to ventilate the front seats to make them nice and warm for us to sit on, or vice versa. The app can also be used to cut off the engine if the vehicle is stolen or in the wrong set of hands.
Other than the 24/7 Emergency Call Centre feature, the Lexus India App can be used to reach out to 24/7 roadside assistance. Also, it features a Driver/Chauffeur alert which will send an alert or notification when the car is overspeeding, if seatbelts aren't fastened, and even if the car goes beyond a set perimeter (similar to geo-fencing). Through the app, users can also take note of service history and a service cost estimate.
The app can be availed through the App Store or the Google Play Store and can also connect to smartwatches and voice assistants. Also, depending on which model the user has, features on the app will differ, giving the customers a proper custom experience.
Naveen Soni, the President of Lexus India, said, "We're looking forward to growing the app over time, and further engaging our guests for feedback on what other features they'd like to experience more."
The all-new Lexus RX has started deliveries and will be the first car from the Lexus lineup to come fully connected with the Lexus India App.
