The LaFerrari, one of the most technologically advanced automobile in the world. Powered by a V12, naturally aspirated engine and electric motors to develop 950 horsepower and more than 900 NM of torque.
It can sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in under three seconds and go all the way till 350 km/h. It has a 7-speed dual clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels. So what can better that?
Well, Porsche has an answer with a hypercar as well. The 918 Spyder has a naturally aspirated V8 engine, with an electric motor too, that produces 887 horsepower and 1,275 Nm of torque.
With a 7-speed PDK dual clutch transmission sending power to all four wheels, the car does 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 340 km/h.
Now, coming to the most important part—what happens when both the cars are tested against each other on a drag race? Will Ferrari's engineering marvel make Porsche taste its dust or is the German carmaker going to make the Italian smell some burning rubber?
