A video was recently posted from Bangalore on social media showcasing a woman’s creative phone setup on her scooter, raising concerns about road safety.
The video posted on the internet captured a woman who has wrapped a scarf around her head to hold a phone to her ear, allowing her to talk on a call and navigate the streets at the same time.
Originally shared on Instagram, the video has got a lot of attention for its innovative approach to hands-free communication, not everyone was impressed by the lady’s talking and riding.
People are questioning the safety implications of committing such acts and are worried that it is not safe, especially with so many traffic police and AI cameras around. Some online say it’s just not smart thinking.
The Bangalore police were tagged on the post and quickly took action. The video was filmed near Vidyaranyapura Opposite NTI grounds in Bengaluru on March 26 in Bengaluru. Commenter who tagged the Police stated the seriousness of the issue and highlighted the potential dangers to other road users by distracted drivers.
A lot of people believe that it is a lack of law enforcement that leads to people committing such reckless and dangerous acts on the street because it is easy to get away with, with no consequences.
