KTM RC390 Crashes Into A Child — Mob Thrashes Bikers And Destroys Bikes

The death of the child left the villagers angry, and they took matters into their hands. The locals blocked both sides of the highway, stopping every rider using the highway. The riders were beaten, and their bikes were trashed by the angry villagers.

The images from the spot show the KTM RC390 lying on the road after its rider was attacked. The mob also vandalised many other high-end bikes like the Harley-Davidson Fatboy and BMW R1200GS.

A rider who was passing at the time of the incident realised the seriousness of the accident and forwarded the message to his fellow riders who were using the same highway. However, many riders travelling through that stretch were stopped and thrashed by the mob who also brought traffic on the highway to a standstill.

By the time the police were able to control the situation, the violent mob had thrashed numerous riders and wrecked their bikes. The NH7 highway is popular among the riders as it leads to weekend getaway destinations such as Nandi Hills and Kolar. Riders in large numbers travel through this popular stretch of road.

The risk of accidents on Indian highways are rather high. Riders should be careful while crossing a junction or passing through a village. It is advised to slow down when approaching a crowded stretch on the highway as there usually will be jaywalkers crossing the road.

When passing through such a stretch of highway, always make sure that no pedestrians crossing the road. If you do come across pedestrians, give way to them or else it may lead to a horrific crash. The risk is even higher when riding at night and it is better to be travelling at controllable speeds to ensure you will have enough time to react to avoid any object or pedestrian on the highway.
