Carbon fiber wheels have been used in the automotive industry for a while now, but still remain as an exotic material, affordable by a very few.
Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg was the only car manufacturer in the world to make carbon fibre rims for the company's production cars, and the Agera was the first car to feature them.
Now, the Regera uses the "hollow" principle, with the designers having a say the final shape. The lighter and stronger wheels are sought by people looking to reduce the weight of a vehicle.
