Indian Cricketer Karun Nair Buys Ford Mustang To Mark His Triple Century
Karun Nair, the second Indian Cricketer to score a triple century has bough himself a new Ford Mustang.
Karun Nair, the Indian Cricketer, has bought himself a Ford Mustang to mark his test triple century, and also getting a fancy registration number to go with it: KA 03 NA 303.
The right-handed batsman scored an impressive 303 runs against England to become the only Indian after Sehwag to score a triple century. The 303 runs scored by Karun helped India achieve a total score of 759 runs against England and win the game.
The ‘03' in the number plate indicates his third innings of his test career and the ‘303' denotes the runs he scored. The car features a bright red paint scheme, and the picture was first made public on his Instagram account.
The Ford Mustang has been an all-time favourite for many enthusiasts, and when Ford announced the launch, fans were eager to own one. Within 15 days since launch, the first batch of Mustangs for India was sold out.
Following the success, Ford has planned to launch the facelift version of the car in India next year. The Mustang is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine that makes 396bhp and 515Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
