Jet Powered, Fire Breathing Trucks Drag Race At Blistering Speed

There's motorcycle drag racing, there is funny car drag racing and then there is jet powered truck racing. Jet powered trucks are some of the fastest trucks in the world. Powered by multiple jet engines they are also the most massive vehicles that are used in drag racing.

These trucks can tap into as much as 36,000 horsepower and are capable of covering 400 meters in as less as 6.5 seconds. Shockwave is the fastest and most powerful of them all - a truck that can reach speeds in excess of 600 km/h!!. Due to the weight and the speed involved air brakes (using parachutes) have to be deployed to bring them to a safe stop.

Now take two of these monstrous trucks, race them against each other and what you get is an amazing spectacle. It's not just about racing either. Part of the package is watching the trucks spew out huge blasts of fire and smoke.
