However, acts such as traveling while standing on a vehicle's roof are rare in Tamil Nadu but more common in North India.

The influence of Bollywood movies is a significant factor behind such acts. Many North Indian youths believe that standing on a vehicle's roof is cool, prompting them to imitate movie scenes.

In this context, the police arrested a youth who traveled on the roof of two Mahindra Thar vehicles on the National Highway.

The young man, identified as Ismail Chaudhry, has posted numerous videos and photos on his Instagram account featuring a Mahindra Thar vehicle.
