Indian Cricketer Rishabh Pant Buys Brand New Land Rover Defender SUV: All Details Here
The Indian Cricketer, Rishabh Pant has finally recovered from his injuries sustained in a deadly road accident last year. Rishabh’s Mercedes-Benz GLE was in a nearly fatal crash while he was driving home from Delhi, on December 2023.
Recently, a video was shared on the internet, where Rishabh Pant was seen arriving in a brand new Land Rover Defender 110 SUV at the Mumbai airport, indicating his latest SUV is the pride of UK's off-road enthusiasts.
Late last year, on the 30th of December, Rishabh was driving back home from Delhi in his Mercedes-Benz 43 GLE AMG. While Rishabh was near Roosee, in Uttarakhand, he fell asleep behind the wheel of the car, leading the GLE to hit the diver, after which the SUV went up in flames.
Rishabh was able to escape the burning car by breaking the windshield. However, he sustained injuries on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and several other injuries, leaving him in critical condition and unable to participate in any tournaments.
In a YouTube video, shared by Cars For You, captured the young cricketer at the Mumbai airport, standing beside his new Land Rover Defender 110 in a beautiful white shade. It looks like Rishabh is all recovered from his injuries and is ready for the T20 World Cup to start.
The Defender is equipped with features such as a 10-inch infotainment display, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a head-up display, wireless charging, a Meridian sound system, 360 degrees cameras, traction control, hill-decent control, 6-airbags and many other features.
Variants on offer include 90, 110 and 130. The 90 variant features 2 fewer doors, while the 110 is the 5-door option, and the 130 also features 5 doors but with a longer wheelbase.
Engine options for the new Land Rover Defender include a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine and a 5.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine option.

Apart from the Defender and the GLE, Pant also owns an Audi A8, a Hyundai i20, a Mercedes-Benz C-class, and a Ford Mustang GT. That being said, the Land Rover Defender is the most recent addition to Rishahb’s otherwise pretty respectable car collection.
