Indian Businessman At It Again; Gifts 1,260 Cars To His Employees
Surat-based businessman gifts cars, savings and flats to his employees for Diwali
Indian businessman from Surat, Savji Dholakia is at it again for this Diwali. He has gifted 1,260 cars, flats and cash savings as a bonus for his employees. Mr. Dholakia is the owner of Hare Krishna Exporters which trades diamond and textiles.
In total, the businessman has gifted 400 flats and the 1,260 cars to his employees and has spent Rs 51 crore as Diwali bonuses this year.
This is not the first time he has gifted bonuses for his employees, last year he had gifted 491 cars and 200 flats and this year he has increased the number.
Of his 1,700 employees who deserved the bonus, the businessman gave the option of either a flat or car or even savings.
This was based on the decision based on his partners and him who took the decision to give away the gifts.
He wanted to celebrate the festival lights by gifting his employees especially for those do not have a car or a house or even savings. The employees were gifted accordingly.
The company employs more than 5,500 people and clocks an annual turnover of Rs 6,000 crore.
Mr Dholakia said, the gifts have been given based on the performance of the employees. The company, Hare Krishna Exporters will make the down payment for the houses and will also pay a home loan EMI for these workers for five years.
Mr. Savji Dholakia comes from Dudhala village from the Amethi district and came to Surat in 1977.
