A biker plunged a family's Diwali into darkness in Bangalore after an illegal stunt went horribly resulting in the death of a seven-year-old girl.

According to Indiatimes, seven-year-old Sahana was enjoying a fireworks display outside her house in Chikkajala, in the outskirts of Bangalore, when the fatal accident occurred. The biker, who was identified as local by the name of Raju, was attempting wheelies and speeding around the area when one of his attempts went wrong and he crashed into the girl.

The culprit ran off from the scene of the crime and attempted to escape but was later nabbed by the local cops. The little girl, was rushed to a hospital, but later succumbed to her injuries. The rider, on the other hand, is in police custody and will be subjected to a medical examination to determine his age.
