MI Captain Hardik Pandya Gifts ₹1.4 Crore Mercedes-Benz V-Class To Mahieka Sharma
Indian all-rounder and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has gifted a Mercedes-Benz V-Class luxury MPV to his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma. Priced at ₹1.4 crore (ex-showroom), the Mercedes V-Class gifted by Pandya is said to be the first one sold in the country.
The Mercedes V-Class is positioned as a premium MPV focused on comfort for those in the back, with a cabin designed for chauffeur-driven use. The V-Class is the longest car from Mercedes-Benz to be sold in India at 5,370mm long.
The V-Class is offered in extra-long-wheelbase (3,430mm long) and is offered in both four and six-seater layouts, with Hardik Pandya's latest acquisition being a six-seater version. The six-seater variant of the Mercedes V-Class owned by Pandya has the middle row captain seats facing the third row of seats. The other version of the six-seater features a conventional second row.
The Mercedes V-Class is offered with both petrol (V300) and diesel (V300d) 2.0-litre turbocharged engines that are paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The V300 is offered with a mild-hybrid system and pushes out 231hp while the diesel V300d cranks out 237hp.
To keep those inside comfortable on the move, Mercedes-Benz has equipped the V-Class with Airmatic air suspension with adaptive damping as standard, which has been tuned to work on Indian roads.
Other highlights of the V-Class include electrically operated rear doors and tailgate, ventilated front seats, dual 12.3-inch displays for the instrumentation and infotainment, a 650W 15-speaker Burmester audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and sunshades for the second and third row of seats.
The V-Class is not the first luxury vehicle that Hardik Pandya has added to his collection or gifted to those close to him. He recently gifted his son Agatsya and his ex-wife, Natasa Stankovic, a Land Rover Defender luxury SUV.
And the V-Class and Defender are not the only luxury vehicles in Hardik Pandya's car collection which includes several high-end models across segments. His garage includes the likes of the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Lamborghini Huracán EVO, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG G63, Range Rover Vogue and Audi A6. He has also added a Ferrari 12Cillindri to his collection, which is reportedly valued at around ₹12 crore.
