Swerve, Roll, And One Burning Car — Richard Hammond Accident Update
Richard Hammond has had an accident, involving a Rimac electric supercar in Switzerland and is injured.
The Grand Tour shot to success after the Top Gear trio, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May got together to come up with a new entertainment show.
The show no doubt features the latest and the most powerful cars in the world but does come with consequences as well, as one of the hosts has met with an accident.

Richard Hammond was involved in a crash while filming one of the episodes on a hill climb course in Switzerland. Hammond was driving a Rimac electric supercar when the swerved off a corner and caught fire.

The ‘Hamster' escaped, but suffered a broken knee and had to be airlifted to a hospital. Hammond was conscious after the crash, while firefighter attended to the car.

Later on, The Grand Tour producers issued a statement confirming the crash and the driver behind the wheel, while also confirming that Hammond was able to get out of the car himself before the vehicle caught fire.

A medical examination confirmed that Hammond only suffered a fractured knee, and nothing serious. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
