Goa Tourism To Introduce Hot Air Balloons And Amphibious Vehicles
Goa, the Indian equivalent to Hawaii, has geared up to meet the season for 2015. The Tourism Department is looking forward to introduce Hot Air Balloons and Amphibious Vehicles.
The Hot Air Balloons will be provided by a Delhi based agency called Camping Retreats and the Amphibious vehicles will be provided by US based Consortium with D'Souza Leisure Goa.
In order to give tourists more services and engagement, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has come up with this plan.
After the success of White Water Rafting and introduction of Women's taxi last year, Goa has decided to introduce these two services in 2015.
GTDC has plans of introducing six Amphibious Vehicles first, which will have all the required facilities to operate the vehicle smoothly with the help of Goa's wide networking of ferry ramps.
These vehicles which can operate on land as well as water will be manufactured in Goa itself, in collaboration with AGCL- Goa, along with technology from the US.
These Amphibious Vehicles can seat up to 34 passengers for a trip that would last for about 30 minutes.
