Force India Formula One team has revealed its shocking new livery for its 2017 VJM10 race car. A new sponsorship deal with Austrian water technology specialist BWT has resulted in a new matte pink paint job.
But the social media is going crazy over the new pink livery, and Twitter trolls have reached another level. The livery is being compared to a toy car to a cartoon character.
But Force India team Principal, Vijay Mallya described the new livery as vibrant and stated that the new matte pink colour scheme gave the Formula One car a new look.
But on the other hand, Twitter trolls are flowing in thick and fast, somebody has compared the new livery with the Pink Panther toy car, whereas another user has mocked the overalls of the team.
As per the press release from Force India, it had mentioned that both the drivers would wear pink colour helmets, so this guy went on to compare the new overalls of the drivers with the Power Rangers character, Ocon.
And the list of trolls continues, the new livery is doing the rounds on Twitter and is made fun by comparing it with cartoon character Pink Panther. The new pink livery on the 2017 VJM10 will debut at the Australian Grand Prix on March 24, 2017.
