Ford Figo Aspire: 7 Stand Out Features We Love
The Ford Figo Aspire is the latest entrant into the compact sedan segment in India. The internet is buzzing about good things and bad things about the car already.
Much been spoken of how it drives, what it costs, and compared to other cars. Does all this matter to a person who is looking for something a little different from the regular?

So here is something about the Figo Aspire we love the most, apart from its attractive price and its powertrain. Here are 7 things that we love about the car and that will interest a potential customer who wants something worth his or her money:
1. Leather Upholstery:
The Aspire comes with leather upholstery, which is the first time for any car in this segment. The beige leather with piano black combination gives the interior of the car a plush, upmarket feel.
2. Storage:
Storage space is a big problem with cars. The Aspire has as many as 20 smart storage compartments, including one in the driver's side, which can be accessed only when the driver's door is open (pictured below cupholders).
3. Dual Clutch Gearbox:
This is something totally unexpected! A dual clutch transmission in this segment which will surely add to the vehicle's performance. Only the 1.5-litre Titanium variant gets it though.
4. Airbags:
While many carmakers think of airbags as a standard safety feature, Ford is offering dual airbags as standard and the top of the line variant gets six airbags, which even include side curtain airbags.
5. Safety:
Being something of a growing concern in India, Ford offers safety features such as MyKey technology which allows owners to program driving modes such as limiting the Aspire's top speed, regulating audio volume and remind the driver to wear a seat belt.
6. Interior Space:
The interior is roomy as well, keeping in mind it is a sub-4 meter sedan. The rear seat can accommodate three adults comfortably seated next to each other with decent headroom.
7. MyFord Dock:
MyFord Dock is a unique solution for storing, mounting and charging mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation systems, and for integrating these devices into the car's entertainment system.
