Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Spied Testing - Images

Its only been a fortnight since Fiat launched the reborn Fiat 124 Spider at the LA Auto Show but the Italian carmaker seems to be already testing an even faster Abarth version of the roadster.

These spyshots reveal that Italian marque Fiat have given the new car bigger air intake up as well as bigger wheels. But the biggest indicator that this is the 124 Spider Abarth are those four exhaust pipes sticking out of the back.

Fiat's 124 Spider Abarth is expected to have around 170 – 180bhp on tap, an increase of around 40bhp from what the standard roadster is expected to produce. An Abarth SS version may also come out some time in the future.
