Father Of Ferrari Driving Kid From Kerala Booked
Remember the YouTube video from a few weeks back that showed a kid driving a Ferrari F430 Scuderia in Kerala? News has now surfaced that the father of the kid has been booked by the police.
The kid's father, Mohammad Nisham, has been booked under the Juvenile Justice Act and Motor Vehicles act. The boy is actually just 9 years old and though he is seen driving very cautiously the video created uproar, with several people questioning their parenting skills. The video which went viral prompted the Peramangalam police, on Friday, to charge Mohammad Nisham under section 23 of the Juvenile Justice Act for encouraging underage driving and under the Motor Vehicles act for allowing an underage, unlicensed person to drive a car.

As it turns out it was the boy's ninth birthday, and since "he was insisting for months, we allowed him to drive the Ferrari." said the boy's mother Amal Nisham, to NDTV. "He is a cautious and confident driver. I am proud of him," she added.
The boy's mother insisted that what had transpired was perfectly safe since the car was driven not on public road, but in a private colony. What are your thoughts on this? Is an underage person, especially a 9 year old kid, driving a supercar justified if he was careful and it was not on a public road.
