Ferrari 458 Italia With Optional Upgrades Worth £100,000
Optional upgrades, as the term says, is optional. Some people might be content with adding a few cushions, seat covers, speakers and stickers of their favourite racing team, while others might spend a little more, getting serious performance upgrades.
It all depends on personal preferences and tastes. Not to mention, the money you are willing to spend. The variables are many. But when it comes to high end, expensive cars, Ferrari 458 Italia for example, optional upgrades are mostly influenced by the need to make the car unique. After all, when you spend £178,000 (~INR 2 crores) on a 458 Italia you would not want it to look the same as another 458 Italia.
The guys over at FortyOneSix came across one such 458 Italia which had optional upgrades added to it worth nearly £100,000 and the car was not even configured to its maximum potential!
Turns out, the car is actually a demo car belonging to Ferrari North Europe HQ and they say it is common for Ferrari owners to spend so much just on optionals. In the video below FortyOneSix tells you what those optional extras are and how much each one costs. Sample this, just the wheel bolts cost £1,937 (INR 20 lakhs).
