Ford Unveils Electric Mustang — Traction Control Toting EV Is Not For The Inner Child In You
Ford's latest Mustang doesn't use an internal combustion engine but features an electric super nanny.
American carmaker Ford has collaborated with Fisher Price to reveal the latest iteration of its iconic 'Pony car', the Mustang.
Bearing the name 'Power Wheels Smart Drive Mustang', this muscle car is not for the tyre smoking V8 loving hoonigan but instead may be considered to be sacrilegious by Most of the Mustang faithful.
The Power Wheels Smart Drive Mustang uses an electric motor instead of a big petrol glomping V8 and features a whole host of tech including traction control, stability management, auto start/stop, and a electric speed limiting super nanny of the strictest order.
The reason for all the electric malarkey is quite simple - The Power Wheels Smart Drive Mustang is meant for kids and it is available in the regulation colours of blue and pink.
And if the kids miss the sound of the V8, they can play their favourite tunes by plugging their music into the speaker through an aux cable.
If you live in the United States, the electric Mustang will be available at a dealership, err toy shop near you in December for$359.99 (Rs. 24659.32).
