This Sports Car Enthusiast Couldn’t Afford A Supercar, So He Built A Lamborghini
Driton Selmani said the car he built has been well accepted by his family and friends. He also added that when he takes it out for a spin, the car is really a crowd puller.
A Kosovan Sports car enthusiast, Driton Selmani wanted a supercar but he couldn't afford one. So, what he did was simple, he built himself a "Lamborghini". All he had was a workshop and good hands for bending and welding metal.
Selmani hails from the eastern Kosovo town of Gjilan. He bought a used Mitsubishi Eclipse, the engine of 3.0-litre Mitsubishi Galant and other car parts to make his dream car.
The Kosovan took over a year to built the car but the final result is a white replica of Lamborghini Reventon with black and red stripe symbolising the colours of the Albanian national flag.
What he did with his talent and time is simply outstanding. He said the car he built has been well accepted by his family and friends. He also added that when he takes it out for a spin, the car is really a crowd puller.
