McLaren 720S Shows Off Its Perfect Tyre Shredding Technique
Chris Goodwin explains in the behind the scenes video of the McLaren Super Series 720S, why drifting is good.
Car brands such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, and McLaren are seldom associated with drifting. But what if you want to? That's why McLaren is offering a 'drift mode' with the 720S, called the 'Variable Drift Control'.

Drifting is not all about show and burning rubber, but learning to drive better on the road, as revealed by McLaren's Chief Test Driver, Chris Goodwin.

Chris Goodwin also talks about the car's Proactive Chassis Control II and the carbon tub which makes the car lighter and stiffer.

The McLaren 720S is the replacement for the 650S and features a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 720PS power to the wheels. Also, the ‘Variable Drift Control' should let the driver drift the car with ease.

Featured below is the ‘behind the scenes' video of drifting the second generation McLaren Super Series around a race track, while McLaren's chief test driver explains various aspects of the car.
Speaking of race tracks, pictured below is the track-only version of the McLaren P1, the P1 GTR.
