Reverse Drag Race Is A Madcap Tyre Spinner
Finding people drag racing has become quite common these days. All you need to do is go to the nearest empty stretch of road, and you'll find a few people with more horsepower than brakes, trying their level best to burn the rubber off the rims of their overpowered chariots.
However, what happens when you make these overpowered cars go down with only one gear available to them? The people at Carwow decided to find out, by pitting four cars from four different countries against each other, with their rear ends facing the finish line.
Representing the UK was the Caterham 620S, a car the company claims is the 'mildly saner, more road-oriented sibling of the ballistic 620R' (a car that James May found to be too fast). Taking the manic Brit on were the Honda Civic Type R (Japan), the BMW M2 (Germany) and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT(United States).
So who won the silliest drag race in the world? Take a look at the video and find out.
