Doorstep Delivery Of CNG Begins In Mumbai: The Fuel Delivery Launches Mobile CNG Pumps
CNG vehicles can now be refueled at your doorstep in Mumbai thanks to The Fuel Delivery. 'The Fuel Delivery' is the name of the startup that has introduced the service in Mumbai and has partnered with Mahanagar Gas Limited to ensure that CNG reaches customers' doorsteps.
Home delivery is not a new concept. Reports state that the very first home delivery was some food that was delivered to a customer way back in 1889. Over time, brands started doorstep delivery for other products too. We now live in a world where even a car or a bike can be delivered to your doorstep, so why shouldn't fuel be delivered to your doorstep as well?
In the last few years, several startups commenced home delivery of fuel. The Fuel Delivery is one such startup. Based in Mumbai, the brand started delivering diesel to its clients across the country. Sectors serviced by the brand include real estate, retail, logistics, hospitality, agriculture, etc.
Basically, any company that uses a generator and/or trucks and other diesel-powered vehicles could use the fuel delivery services provided by The Fuel Delivery. Now, the company has decided to venture into the delivery of CNG as well, thereby making it the first company in India to do so.
The CNG delivery service will start off as a small project and will then slowly expand. Initially, the CNG delivery can be called for in areas like Sion & Mahape and once this is full-fledged, the service will expand to cover all areas in Mumbai. At a later stage, The Fuel Delivery will start delivering CNG in other cities too.
The CNG will be dispensed through a mobile CNG station mounted on a mini truck. With the CNG delivery service, the company has expanded from B2B (Business to Business) operations and has entered the lucrative B2C (Business to Consumer) space.
With this move, CNG-powered vehicles including auto-rickshaws, buses, cars, etc, are targeted. Fleet operators will find it especially convenient to use doorstep delivery of CNG as all of its vehicles do not have to be driven to the CNG pump, but the pump will come to the yard where the vehicles are parked.
Rakshit Mathur, Founder & CEO at The Fuel Delivery was quoted as saying, "After successfully carrying out the doorstep delivery of diesel across the country, we are taking a step forward by announcing the CNG doorstep delivery."

Usage of CNG is increasing at a rapid pace in the Indian market. It is cleaner and greener than petrol and diesel. It is also less expensive and more efficient. It really is a win-win situation with CNG power and The Fuel Delivery has launched the doorstep delivery of CNG just in time for the CNG boom. It is sure to grow at a rapid pace and the brand knows just as much.
