Diamond Merchant's Employees Surprised With Their Diwali Gifts
A Surat based diamond dealer has rewarded all his employees for meeting targets for the year. Possibly one of the most generous employer in the world, he has rewarded them with brand new cars as a Diwali gift.
The diamond merchant has rewarded 1200 employees with diamonds and brand new Fiat Punto Evo hatchbacks. The new Punto Evo was launched in August this year.
The diamond industry in Surat district of Gujarat may not be doing very good in its history, but employees were still rewarded for their hard work.
Employees were very happy about the gift even though many don't know how-to drive!
The company owner said, "We decided on this program last year itself. We rewarded 1,200 employees who achieved given targets.
One of the company's employees, says "I have received a string of diamonds as a gift from my employer."
"I consider myself to be very lucky to have an employer like this, I was gifted a car," says another employee.
