Dhanush Responds To Anand Mahindra's Tweet About Thar Being Used In Rajinikanth's Kaala
Dhanush tweeted, "Thank you so much, sir !!! The vehicle is being used by superstar for shoot currently. Once completed will ensure it reaches you :)"
Rajinikanth's movie sure does evoke a massive response from not just his fans, but the whole movie industry as well.
However, Rajinikanth's recent movie Kaala evoked a response from none other than Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra Group. The reason for his tweet on the movie Kaala was the Mahindra Thar being used for shooting.
When the film's teaser was released, Anand Mahindra noticed that a Mahindra Thar jeep being utilised in the movie and requested the whereabouts of the Thar and he wanted to acquire it for the company's auto museum.
The producer of the Kaala movie, Dhanush as responded to Anand Mahindra's request. He tweeted stating that once the shoot is complete, will ensure it will reach Anand Mahindra to be used in the auto museum.
The Mahindra Thar is an off-road SUV and has the charm of the bygone era. The Thar is not just about looks; it packs a punch with its off-road capabilities as well.
Mahindra Thar is available in two version: CRDe and DI. While the CRDe is a powerful version, the DI is slightly lower in power output. The Thar CRDe is powered by a 2498cc diesel engine producing 105bhp and 247Nm of torque.
As for the Thar DI version, the jeep is powered by a 2523cc diesel engine developing 63bhp and 195Nm of torque. Both the version come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
While the Thar CRDe is offered as a 4WD option, the Thar DI comes with optional 2WD and 4WD.
