Movie Stunt Rider Dies While Shooting For Deadpool 2
A stunt sequence goes wrong on the sets of Deadpool 2 and the rider, SJ Harris was killed.
The second part of Deadpool is a movie most people are waiting for, owing to some crazy action sequence and the stunts involved. Sadly, a stunt sequence went all wrong, and the rider passed away.
The rider was SJ Harris, a stuntwoman, performing her first gig for a movie. The incident took place in Vancouver. Witnesses say that the stuntwoman lost control of her motorcycle, jumped a curb, and crashed into a glass window.

Harris was treated at the scene by an ambulance personnel but passed away. Harris was performing the stunt for Zazie Beetz, who plays a character named Domino for the movie. Production was shut down immediately following the accident.
According to reports, Harris was not wearing a helmet during the stunt sequence since the role she was playing did not require Domino to wear one. If a helmet could have saved her life is something to ponder about.

Harris was a professional motorcycle racer, who got her licence in 2013 and began racing professionally in 2014. Her website describes her as the first African-American woman to compete in an AMA-sanctioned event.

There have been movies in the past where motorcycle stunts involved characters to ride without a helmet. Mission Impossible II was a notable movie which portrays Tom Cruise riding a BMW S1000RR without a helmet, and also James Bond's recent film, Skyfall. Although the two movies had no hiccups, this particular incident of Deadpool 2 is worrying.
