Cyclone Vardah has struck the eastern coast of India wreaking havoc in the states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with winds reaching speeds of up to 200km/h.

While residents have fled to the safety of their homes to avoid the blistering winds. However, their vehicles don't have that option as the hapless Maruti Suzuki Swift from Chennai shows in the video above.
