Cyclist, Knocked Down By Mattress, Also Gets Saved By It
The event in the following video took place on 17th of March and the location is likely someplace in Brazil. In under a week, the video has received nearly 2,00,000 views on YouTube at the time of this writing. What made this video go viral is the extreme unlikeliness of such a thing ever happening.
Here is what happens in the video. A cyclist traveling on the side of the road suddenly gets knocked down, seemingly by an SUV that whizzes past him. But it is not the SUV, but a mattress that falls off of the SUV that knocks him down. What follows next is even more amazing.
The same mattress that knocks the cyclist down swoops underneath him like Aladdin's magic carpet to break his fall.
The cyclist was extremely fortunate in this case as it could have easily ended very differently. You'll have to watch it to believe it. You'll definitely want to drag back the progress bar several times to rewatch it more than once.
