Crazy Indian Youtuber On Kawasaki Ninja Hits 299km/h On Public Roads

An Indian Youtuber with a large following filmed himself maxing out his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R hitting 299km/h on public roads.

The video from a Youtuber who goes by the handle of BeerBiker Samy was filmed 5 months back when the vlogger was riding his Japanese litre-class superbike to Ladakh from Kolkata.

In the video seen here, the Youtuber is seen maxing his Ninja XX-10R on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway which connects the capital of Uttar Pradesh with the city best known for the Taj Mahal.

In the video, the vlogger can be seen trying to max out his superbike multiple times before pulling out due to what appears to be heavy buffeting and other conditions on the expressway. The Agra Lucknow Expressway is an access controlled with a speed limit of 100km/h for light vehicles and 80km/h for heavy vehicles like trucks.

However, as seen in the video, the vlogger does not pay heed to the speed limit. Finally, after multiple efforts that saw him stuck in the high 270s, he finally pushes the ZX-10R to its electronically limited top speed of 299km/h, which is nearly three times the permissible speed limit. Also seen in the video is another superbike, the Suzuki Hayabusa, whose rider is also seen riding at high levels of speed.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a motorcycle built to go fast (not on public roads though). The Japanese superbike is powered by a 998cc, inline-four engine that produces 197bhp and 113.5Nm of peak torque which propels it to 100km/h in under 3 seconds and onward to an electronically limited top speed of 299km/h.

Thoughts About The Ninja & Top Speed Runs

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a bike built to go fast and is one that can be really enjoyed in controlled environments like a race track or an officially closed off section of road.

However, riding it way above permitted speed limits and doing top speed runs on public roads is something we will always condemn as it something that not only compromises the rider's safety but also that of everyone else on the road. If you want to test out your bike's top speed, go to a track day or a manufacturer sponsored event where there is enough safe space to do so without harming everyone else.
