Costco UK Realistic F1 Simulator Costs Rs 75.2 Lac

The UK division of Costco, a wholesale corporation, is offering a Formula One simulator for those who are not satisfied by the experience of playing a racing game on a regular gaming console or PC.

If you are ready to shell out £90,000 (~ INR 75.2 lakhs) you get the most authentic Formula One racing experience while still being stationary. The game system is powered by an Intel i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, an Intel SSD, triple head graphics card and Windows 7 OS. Wireless keyboard and mouse included. A trio of 23 inch, slim bezel TFT displays and a 5.1 surround sound system render the simulator experience. In place of the air-intake is the speaker's subwoofer.

The authentic Formula One experience is realised by the specially designed F1 car chassis in which the whole gaming setup is housed. Developed by simulator constructor FMCG International, the body is made using materials that an actual F1 car is made from, including carbon fiber composites. There are real F1 style slick tyres (though slicks are banned in a real race), F1 style racing suspensions, Brembo brake callipers and more. Our question is, why would you want to spend that amount and buy something that will not move an inch. For that amount you could buy a Nissan GT-R in the UK and still have some money to spare.
