Conventional Wiper Blades Vs Frameless Wiper Blades
Wiper blades are among the most often overlooked car parts. Despite wiper blades being relatively affordable, many car owners neglect replacing wiper blades at proper intervals.

Since the wiping part on a wiper blade is made from rubber, it can get hard over a period of time. This hardening process is accelerated if the wiper blades are exposed to the sun for prolonged hours.

So, it is necessary to replace wiper blades when they get old and hard. However, it is generally recommended to change the wiper blade once every 12 months. However, this varies from place to place and depends on factors such as exposure to the sun, pH value of water, hardness of water, dirt and grit accumulation on the windshield, and much more.

So, if you are a person who is planning to replace the wiper blades in your car, you will probably have an option to either use conventional wiper blades or more modern frameless wiper blades.
Being the newer of the two models, the frameless wiper blades are theoretically better than framed / conventional wiper blades. This is because the pressure in the frameless wiper blades are more evenly distributed on the glass surface.

Thanks to the even distribution of pressure, the chances of hair-line scratches on the windshield are reduced to a certain extent. This is especially true during long-term usage.
During heavy rains, the conventional / framed wiper blades can sometimes leave thin layers of water on the windshield due to this uneven pressure and excessive force of rain acting on the wiper blade.

This sort of problem is almost non-existent in frameless wiper blades as the pressure is evenly distributed in the windshield and water is wiped off the windshield in a very clean manner. Moreover, thanks to the more aerodynamic design, these frameless wiper blades are much better during heavy rains.
In addition to that, conventional / framed wiper blades use multiple moving parts to adjust to varying degrees of curvature on the windshield. This increases the chances of failure during heavy rainfall.

On the other hand, frameless wiper blades are single-piece units and do not have any moving joints. This design quality gives frameless wiper blades a much better life and reduces the chances of failure during heavy rainfall.

However, frameless wiper blades have one disadvantage over conventional / framed wiper blades. This is because frameless wiper blades are a bit more expensive than conventional / framed wiper blades as they use more advanced materials that are a bit more expensive to produce.
In addition to that, frameless wiper blades also look a lot more aesthetically appealing on cars. This is especially true if you are diving in some sporty vehicle.

Thoughts About Frameless Wiper Blades & Conventional Wiper Blades
Frameless wiper blades have many advantages over conventional wiper blades and clearly shows its superiority. Moreover, these frameless wiper blades make the car look a bit 'cooler' as well.
