A recent incident in India has highlighted the desperate measures animals are taking to escape the scorching summer heat. A video has emerged on Instagram showing a cobra being rescued from the front panel of a Hero Pleasure scooter.
The snake had taken refuge in the headlight cover and was visibly agitated, even biting the handlebar of the scooter.The video, shared by Rajesh Indori Snake Rescuer, begins with the rescuer displaying the opened front panel of the scooter and holding the cobra. He explains that the snake has now moved to the headlight cover.
The rescuer then proceeds to loosen the cover to create space for the snake's rescue. It becomes apparent that the snake is stuck inside the headlight cover, and the rescuer expresses concern that it may bite itself.Despite its size, the snake struggles to free itself from the cover.
Throughout the process, it can be seen attempting to bite itself out of frustration. The rescuer notes that the snake is extremely angry and frustrated, leading it to bite anything within reach, including the left handlebar of the scooter.
It is important to note that cobras possess venom potent enough to kill multiple adults with a single bite.Eventually, the rescuer manages to safely remove the snake from the scooter and places it on the road. He remarks that the snake has calmed down and is no longer biting anything.
To ensure its safety, he gently guides it into a cloth bag. This incident follows another recent rescue where a non-venomous snake was found inside a helmet.The snake was discovered in an unexpected location, as helmets are not typically associated with housing snakes.
An animal conservationist successfully removed the snake from the helmet, identifying it as a non-venomous common Trinket snake commonly found near bushes.
The conservationist gently grasped the snake and released it back into its natural habitat, away from human living spaces. The homeowners were relieved that the snake was not harmful and expressed gratitude for the conservationist's quick response.
After the incident, the homeowners made sure to store their helmets in a secure place to prevent any future unexpected encounters with wildlife. The conservationist reminded them of the importance of coexisting peacefully with nature and being mindful of the habitats of various creatures, even in seemingly unlikely places like a helmet.
