Class 10 Student With Driver’s License Fined Rs 1.33 Lakh – Car Seized
A class 10 student was arrested by UP Police for doing stunts in his dad's Hyundai i20 hatchback. Like in most cases, the stunts were performed to gain attention on social media platforms.
Though the video became viral, things took a turn for the worst as many social media users started complaining and traffic police took note of the car used in the stunts.
Once the culprit behind the stunts was nabbed by the police, it was found out that the person performing the stunts behind these viral videos was just a class 10 student. However, what shocked the police was that the class 10 student possessed a valid driver's license.
This has given rise to suspicion and all the documents will be sent for verification. If the student is found to be underage, then action will be taken against the owner of the vehicle. Moreover, an investigation will also be commenced to know the source of the 'fake' driving license.
That being said, the Police have issued a challan worth Rs 33,000 for these stunts. However, a little verification revealed that the vehicle used for stunting already has pending challans worth Rs 1.33 lakh.
In fact, this car was issued challans 15 times in the year 2019, and none of the fines were paid by the owner. As such, the vehicle has now been seized by the UP Police and the department is looking forward to suspending the registration of the seized car.
Overall, the UP Police have done a great job at tracking down the vehicle and nabbing the culprit. However, it must be said that many youngsters are involved in such illegal stunts to gain followers on social media, and strict actions will have a profound effect on controlling such violations.

Many people are in a race to get more social media followers and a section of these youngsters are rampantly involved in doing dangerous stunts on public roads to increase their followers. The best possible way to limit such illegal stunts is to introduce more stringent penalties.
