Chandrayaan 3 To Land On The Moon Today Evening – A Historic Moment For India
ISRO has said that all systems onboard the Chandrayaan 3 are working according to the plan. This is great news as ISRO can commence with the soft landing of the Chandrayaan 3 on the south polar region of the moon as per the schedule.
That being said, the calculations laid out by ISRO say that the Chandrayaan 3 is set to write history at around 06:04 pm (IST). Also, the live broadcast of the landing procedure of the Chandrayaan 3 has been scheduled to start around 05:27 pm (IST).

Viewers can access the live stream of the Chandrayaan 3 soft landing on multiple platforms. These platforms include the DD National TV channel, ISRO website, ISRO Facebook page and YouTube.
That being said, the Chandrayaan 3 is India's second attempt at soft landing a spacecraft on the surface of the Moon. If successful, India will be the fourth nation after Russia, US, and China to achieve this feat.

What makes the Chandrayaan 3's mission unique to the world is the probe is set to land on the south polar region of the moon - Which is not explored by any other nation due to the difficulty associated with landing a probe in that region.
It has also been informed that the propulsion module will continue to orbit the Moon even after the lander's touchdown. This is done in order to study the atmosphere of the Earth.
Thoughts: The 40-day mission to land the Chandrayaan 3 on the south polar region of the moon comes down to this moment. We expect the success of this mission to once again highlight the capability of the nation.
