CFMoto Launches CForce EV110 Electric ATV For Kids: Gets 45Km/h Top Speed & 61 Km Range
CFMoto has introduced its new CForce EV110 electric ATV for children. It is designed for kids aged 10 years and above to have fun with and ride around off-road trails. The ATV also features lots of technology that enables parents to keep track of where the kids are riding the vehicle. It certainly looks like a machine that will allow its riders to have loads of fun.
ATVs have been around for a very long time and these machines exist only to give its riders a fun-to-ride experience. There are several segments of ATVs in the market and this segmentation has occurred due to varying engine sizes and even the size of the ATV often differs. However, with electric vehicles gaining popularity, it was only a matter of time before electric ATVs showed up.
Electric ATVs for adults too have been around for a while now. However, electric ATVs for children too are now gaining popularity. Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has now introduced a new mini ATV. It is called the CForce EV110 and is designed for kids to ride around.
The CForce EV110 is intelligent and features quite a few gadgets. This includes LCD instrumentation that allows users to monitor the battery percentage, speed, distance covered, riding modes, etc. It even gets a fancy call-back feature that allows adults or parents to send messages and notifications to the screen while the child is out riding the ATV.
This is a feature that is enabled by the smartphone app which pairs to the vehicle's onboard connectivity. The EV110 also sends a notification to the smartphone and also displays the same on the LCD screen when the battery is low and about to be depleted. Safety of the child is taken care of too, with a tether attached to the rider's jersey. When this tether is broken, the motor automatically cuts off.
The CForce EV110 draws power from a 44V, 2.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack can be charged in about four hours and a fully charged battery pack lends the ATV a range of around 61 kilometres.
Performance is great too, with a 1.5kW electric motor driving the ATV. It boasts a top speed of around 45km/h. This top speed can only be achieved in the Sports mode. The CForce EV110 features two ride modes. Eco mode limits the top speed to 24km/h. The CForce EV110 is already on sale in the Australian market at a price of $5,290 AUD (Rs 2.76 lakh).
