CEAT Elevates Vishal Pawar To Senior Vice President Of Global Sales

CEAT, a prominent tyre manufacturer, has announced the promotion of Vishal Pawar to Senior Vice President - Global Sales and Supply Chain. This leadership change signifies a new phase in CEAT's growth journey.

Vishal Pawar, previously Vice President of Replacement Sales, will replace Saurav Mukherjee, who has resigned after over four years in the role. Mukherjee's tenure was marked by significant contributions to the company's global sales and supply chain strategies.

Vishal Pawar's Extensive Experience

Pawar's career began at TAFE Limited in Chennai as a Management Trainee after completing his engineering degree from the College of Engineering Pune and management studies at SIBM. He joined CEAT in 2005 as Category Head before moving into sales roles, including Zonal Sales Head for the South.

In 2019, Pawar transitioned to Garware Technical Fibres but later returned to CEAT. He then rose to become Vice President of India's largest aftermarket sales division. His extensive experience and proven success make him well-suited for his new responsibilities.

Leadership Transition

Following Saurav Mukherjee's departure on July 31, 2024, Vishal Pawar assumed his new role starting July 1, 2024. This transition is expected to bolster CEAT's market presence and operational efficiency.
