Paul Walker Porsche Accident Cause Confirmed In Coroner's Report
It has finally been confirmed that excess speed was the reason behind the car crash in which Hollywood actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died. The Porsche Carrera GT in which Walker and Rodas, the driver at the time, met with the fatal accident was travelling at over 100 mph (160+ km/h) before it crashed, a report from the Los Angeles County Coroner's office has concluded.
The 15 page report confirms that Rodas lost control for reasons not known. The Porsche then spun partially, moved sideways, before hitting a sidewalk. The driver's side of the car then hit a tree, causing the vehicle to spin 180 degrees. The Porsche continued moving down the road when it hit another tree and then burst into flames.

The report also says that neither Rodas nor Walker were under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. While Rodas died immediately due to head, neck and chest injuries, Walker breathed his last before the car was engulfed in flames and smoke.
As far as the fate of the next Fast and Furious movie is concerned, the release date has been pushed back from July 2014 to April 10, 2015. The script has been rewritten to provide a suitable retirement for Paul Walker's character.
