This September It's Raining Cars And Bikes
With the month of September comes the festive season, and the automobile market is ready to pounce in on the opportunity to launch new products. This month, many manufacturers are ready with their new products set to launch, as they can boost sale.
So, here is a list of new vehicles launching this month.
Bajaj Pulsar VS 400
Bajaj Auto first showcased the CS 400 concept model at the 2014 Auto Expo, but the production model is named as VS400. The bike is powered by 373.27cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple spark engine, which churns out 34.5bhp at 8,000rpm. The VS400 will be Bajaj's flagship model and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 1.7 - Rs 1.85 lakh ex-showroom.
Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer And Bobber
Italian firm Piaggio showcased the V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber at Auto Expo 2016. Both motorcycles from Piaggio's sister brand, Moto Guzzi is expected to launch this month. The bikes will come as CBUs for India. Both motorcycles are powered by a 850cc v-twin engine, which produces 54bhp at 6,250rpm.
Honda Brio Facelift
Honda Car India is all set to launch its entry-level hatchback, the Brio, which was already spied at a dealership. The new facelift version gets a new dashboard layout, audio system, steering wheel mounted audio button, projector headlamps, and ABS for the RS version.The new version of the Brio gets a newly designed front bumper and grille.
Hyundai Elite i20 Automatic
Hyundai has silently introduced the automatic version of the Elite i20 this month, while there are no major changes done to the design or styling. The Elite i20 is powered by 1.4-litre four-cylinder VTVT petrol engine which produces 99bhp at 6,000rpm and 132.5Nm of torque. The prices are yet to be announced, which can be expected anytime soon.
Fiat Urban Cross
Italian carmaker Fiat is set to launch the Urban Cross in India, which was first showcased at the the 2016 Auto Expo. The Urban Cross is powered by a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine which is tuned to produce 140bhp and 210Nm of torque. The crossover is equipped with new front grille, LED lighting, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior will feature a five-inch touch screen infotainment system, audio navigation, and a dual tone dashboard.
Toyota Etios, Liva Facelift
Toyota Kirloskar Motor will launch the facelifted version of the Etios sedan and Liva hatchback on 13th of September. The new cars will feature a V-shaped grille with black honeycomb inserts. The front bumper and rear design of the car has been reworked. The interior will be all black with the centre console finished in piano black. The instrument cluster has been replaced with a digital display.
Audi A4
German auto giant Audi revealed the new A4 sedan at the 2016 Auto Expo and Audi India will launch the new sedan on September 8. The new A4 features an angular design and a wider single frame front grille. Initially, the new A4 will be equipped with 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and later a 2.0-litre diesel unit will be added.
Jaguar XF
British premium carmaker Jaguar will launch the second generation XF in India during the end of September. The front portion of the sedan has been reworked with a large mesh grille, larger air intakes and new LED headlamps. The car will be available in Pure, Prestige, and Portfolio variants. All the three versions are powered by 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine which produces 177bhp and 430Nm torque. The Prestige and Portfolio trims will be available in petrol options as well. All the models will get an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
