Driver Falls Asleep At The Wheel, Car Goes Flying

A driver in Romania was sent flying through the air after his car hit a roundabout with him fast asleep at the wheel.

The reckless 22-year old driver was driving around in the Romanian town of Braila when he fell asleep at the wheel. The car rockets into the air after hitting the roundabout but does not spin in the air, which is what saved the driver's life when he splashed down in a rather large puddle of water on the road.

However, his car didn't seem to survive the jump as it grinded to a halt leaving a trail of debris, mainly parts that had fallen off the car due to the hard landing.

The driver is set to be prosecuted by the police and may end up losing his license.
