The Brabus 700 Is A Roided Mercedes-AMG E 53 - More Powerful Than AMG's Top E-Class

German tuning house Brabus is up to its old tricks once again, taking fast AMGs and making them even quicker. The latest effort from the maniacs from Bottrop is named the Brabus 700 (yes, they need more nameplates) and sees the Mercedes-AMG E 53 get the Brabus treatment.

The heart of this latest transformation lies in the Brabus PowerXtra B53 - 700 Performance upgrade for the E 53. This boosts the turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder combustion engine's output from the standard 449hp to an impressive 537hp at 6,100 rpm while the maximum torque rises from 560Nm to a staggering 660 Nm.

The Brabus 700 retains the original AMG E 53's 163hp, 480Nm elexctric motor , powered by a 28.6 kWh lithium-ion battery, this upgrade markedly elevates the vehicle's performance metrics. The system output is now rated at 700 hp and the peak torque has risen to 850Nm. This increase ups propels the all-wheel-drive Brabus 700 sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds, and allows it to hit a top speed of 280 km/h.

Exterior Enhancements and Aerodynamics

To match its enhanced performance, the Brabus 700 features a suite of tailor-made exterior components crafted from high-quality PUR plastic and exposed carbon, offering an immediate "wow" effect. The front of the vehicle sports the three-piece Brabus front spoiler, alongside custom-made carbon trims for the side air intakes and the radiator grille, significantly improving the vehicle's aerodynamics and driving stability at high speeds.

The Brabus 700's sides are adorned with fender accents, while the rear boasts a distinctive Brabus diffuser and four integrated, 90-millimeter titanium/carbon exhaust tips, further accentuating the upgraded saloon's sporty appearance. For those looking to enhance the vehicle's aerodynamics further, the saloon version can be fitted with a Brabus rear spoiler, generating additional downforce at high velocities.

The saloon version of the Brabus 700 is equipped with Monoblock Z wheels, measuring 9Jx21 at the front and 10.5Jx21 at the rear, while the Estate variant sports Brabus Monoblock M 'Platinum Edition' wheels of the same dimensions. These wheels are draped by either Continental or Hankook tyres, measuring 265/35 ZR 21 and 305/30 ZR 21.

Interior Luxury and Customization

The interior of the Brabus 700 does not fall short in luxury and individualization. Starting with the stainless steel door sill trims, available in two versions—one with a white illuminated Brabus logo and another variant where the Brabus lettering illuminates in 64 different colors, matching the standard ambient lighting.

Additional customization options include Brabus pedal pads, offered in carbon or aluminum, and high-quality velour covers for the footwells and luggage compartment, featuring black nubuck edging and silver-colored piping and stitching. For those seeking a truly bespoke interior, Brabus' in-house team can create exclusive interiors in countless colors and various quilting patterns, tailored to the individual preferences of the vehicle owner.

The Brabus 700, based on the Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+, represents the pinnacle of customization for the E-Class from the German tuning house. It combines unparalleled performance with luxury and individuality creating a vehicle that not only challenges the boundaries of performance sedans of its class.
