A BMW That’s A Swimming Pool Gets Caught In Germany
Lawmakers have never bothered to make rules such as "You may not drive around the town in a swimming pool", but authorities in Germany may now be contemplating passing such a law.
Why? That's because earlier this year a police on patrol came across a roofless BMW without license plate, but what he encountered was something he could have never thought of in his wildest dreams.
According to the police he became suspicious that something was amiss when water splashed out of a BMW occupied by four men - the driver, two in the rear seats and another on the bonnet with his legs inside. Upon closer inspection he found the inside of the car had been converted into a pool, filled with water.

It was reported that the men had filled the car with 2,000 liters of water. A synthetic sealant was used waterproof the car's interior. The BMW reportedly could not travel faster than 25 km and was restricted to just a single gear.

As for the four men, they made a quick escape as soon as they spotted the advancing police. But the 27 year old driver, also the owner of the car, later returned to claim his belongings that had been left behind. His wallet and shoes were returned, but not his one of kind "Car Pool".
The police suspected all four were drunk at the time and the driver was charged for driving without license and car insurance. But what about driving a swimming pool? Guess he was let on benefit of doubt.
