BMW i8 Hybrid Supercar Claims It Is The Future Of India

BMW recently launched its hybrid supercar in India, alongside Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The German manufacturer launched their i8 supercar in India on the18th of February, 2015. This vehicle combines cutting edge technology with clean and efficient electric motor coupled with a gasoline engine.

Now the German manufacturer claims that their i8 supercar is the future, which is a bold statement in itself. Now they have a video to support their claim and we guess you should take a look at it.

The i8 has been priced at INR 2,29,00,000 ex-showroom, India. BMW have provided a 1499cc petrol engine and an electric motor. This supercar generates 357 horsepower and 570 Nm peak torque, it is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and provides fuel efficiency figures of 47.75 kpl.
