The Australian outback is usually a rather quiet place inhabited by rather dangerous creatures and by hardy Australian herders with rather humongous cattle herds and cattle stations the size of small countries.

Bentley decided to disturb the peace by enlisting the help of former V8 Supercar champion and all-around Aussie racing legend John Bowe in a bid to helps its Continental GT Speed model hit V-max. Cue a cleared out stretch of a derestricted portion of the Stuart highway with the help of a friendly Northern Territory Government.

The combination of Bentley's insane 6-litre W12 engine's 626bhp and 680Nm of torque along with Bowe's heavy right foot saw the the GT Speed gulp 4700 litres of air every second as it roared its way to glory.
