Video: Bajaj Dominar Attempts High-Speed Chase Of Royal Enfield 750cc — Gets Put In Its Place
A Bajaj Dominar chases down Royal Enfield's upcoming 750cc Twin on Chennai's roads.
Royal Enfield's upcoming 750cc parallel twin is the motorcycle that RE fans have been talking about ever since it was spotted testing. Designed for a global audience, the new 750cc parallel twin Royal Enfield will make its debut at EICMA 2017 in Milan, this November.
The 750cc Enfield is currently undergoing rigorous testing in India and abroad. While sightings are rare, the Royal Enfield 750 has found itself being chased on public roads by fans and foes alike.
The latest such spotting took place in Chennai, where a Bajaj Dominar rider attempted a high-speed pursuit of the upcoming Royal Enfield 750.

The Dominar did its level-best to keep up with the new Enfield 750 but on open stretches of the highway despite the Dominar hitting 161kph, the 750cc Royal Enfield still seemed to have enough left in its tank to keep the biggest Bajaj at bay. It zipped ahead, after allowing the Dominar to come close.
This isn't the first time, a motorcycle powered by the same 373cc engine has attempted to chase down the Royal Enfield 750cc parallel twin. A few months earlier, a KTM Duke 390 attempted to chase down the 750cc Royal Enfield, but that too ended in failure.

The upcoming Royal Enfield 750 will push out a whole lot more power and torque compared to KTMs and Dukes as it attempts to take down the Harley Davidson Street 750 and its ilk. Basically, the Dominar learnt the lesson on why bigger is better.
While it may look cool, the sheer stupidity of the Dominar's rider high-speed chase and the number of near misses on the highway for both bikes which could have ended tragically just shows why most Indians need to be sent to safety school before they hit the road.
