Watch Bajaj Dominar 400 Drag Race KTM Duke 390
Bajaj has touted the Dominar 400 as a sports cruiser, watch the video here when the KTM Duke 390 drag races the Dominar 400.
Bajaj's most powerful motorcycle, the Dominar 400 was launched on December 15, 2016 and it has created an atmosphere of excitement in the entry level sports motorcycle segment. The Dominar 400 was launched with a competitive starting price of Rs 1.36 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.2cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine which the KTM Duke 390 is powered by as well. While the Duke 390 is a naked and street styled, the Dominar 400 gets the cruiser image with its low-slung stance and the Pulsar cues are evident in the styling.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is the first bike in India to get a LED headlight and comes with the Automatic Headlight On (AHO) feature as well.
The new bike from Bajaj features a new fuel tank design, split seat, digital speedometer and instrument cluster. The tyres of the Dominar 400 are tubeless from MRF, disc brakes with dual channel ABS, LED tail lights and turn indicators.
While both the Dominar 400 and the KTM Duke 390 is powered by the same 373.2cc engine from KTM, the Dominar 400 is tuned to deliver 35bhp and the Duke 390 punches out a massive 44bhp.
The booking for the Dominar 400 have commenced and will challenge the KTM Duke 390 with its aggressive pricing. Deliveries are expected to begin from January 2017.
